How it works
You publish a post with a clear call to action. Someone comments the keyword, Ciarem matches it (capitals and accents aside, anywhere in the comment) and the first matching rule sends its direct message. The conversation opens in your Inbox with the post and the comment at the top, and when they reply, the AI agent answers like on any other DM.

One rule for Instagram and Facebook
A rule can listen on Instagram accounts and Facebook Pages at once, so a campaign posted on both networks is a single rule. For each account, choose All posts or Specific posts, picked from your recent posts and reels, so a launch rule only fires on the launch post.

A DM worth answering
Write the direct message the way you would answer by hand: what they asked for, plus a question that keeps the conversation going. Add an image to turn it into a card, and up to 3 buttons that open a link or let the customer reply with one tap. A tap on a reply button counts as their answer, so the AI agent replies to it.
Inside Meta's rules
Meta allows one private reply per comment, within 7 days of the comment. On a post that takes off, Ciarem paces sends under Meta's hourly limit, and comments beyond it are recorded but not answered rather than risking your account. The automatic DM does not open the 24-hour window, so nothing else is sent until the person replies.

How to get started
Set up your first rule

Connect the account
Connect a public Instagram professional account, or your Facebook Page through Messenger.

Create the automation
On the Instagram or Messenger channel page, click Manage automations, then New automation. Pick the accounts, the keywords and the posts.

Write the DM and save
Write the direct message, add an image, buttons or a public reply if you want, and save. The rule starts switched on.
